no power to cd player?

Purchased used Denali 2006. Found after trying all the electronic eq. that the 5 disk cd player would not let me put a tape in. It appears there is no power to unit, after locating two lcd looking windows on either side. Removed player today and tested 12 volts at connection to player from truck, good. Took player partially apart hoping to find a fuse, no luck. But, I did find a broken cd inside. Removed it and re-connected power but still did not work. This is connected I beleive to a Boss system, but the player says Panasonic Automotive Systems ---Model no. 15110393 Ref. no. cx-cg0462x It probably needs to go to a bench for technical equipment to diagnoise issue. If you have any other Ideas, or know of a local dealer around Orlando or my area of Winter Springs 32708 I would appreciate the input.
