How can i fix my Diplomat dishwasher ADP8242 ?

I have a diplomat adp 8132 is the main control unit the same for adp 8242 or ever later models?

My diplomat dishwasher has all the lights stuck on and I can't change the programme, any one have any ideas what the problem is?

hello, has anyone any ideas about my diplomat adp8242 it leaks underneath and isn't draining properly there is about an inch of water left in the botton at the end of the cycle.

the machine starts but stops after a minute or so, an engineer said it probably was the main computer board, but cant be certain . ANY IDEAS; before buying a new machine or a new/ master board ?

i have an intergrated ADP8242, it origionally had a minor fault on the motherboard which i fixed temporarily but i need a new motherboard. anyone know where to get one??

Hello,
I turn on the start proces with my Diplomat dishwasher as per usual and the thing does not kick into life. All I hear is a buzzing sound. when I open the door up the base is filled partially with hot water but nothing is happening? Help

I have the same problem, but my water does get hot. Did you get anywhere with finding out what the problem is?

I've just been reading through the forum and if anyone else has a similar problem to mine please read Justin question on Feb 2005. I'm now £90- lighter in the pocket for not reading the the forum pages before calling out an engineer.

I have a similar problem with this model the program starts and fills up with water, after about 3 minutes it emits a short beep and then empties without doing any washing. Out of the five program lights; from the left the first three lights flash on and off, the fourth stays off and the fifth remains on. I have checked the fault page in the handbook and this is not a recognised fault. The repair man has been and has sent off the circuit board (program) which has revealed it to be faulty. I have been informed that Diplomat is actually a Smeg and they sell a considerable amount of circuit boards which are around £85 -£90.
I can see that you posted this question in Jan 2006 so you have most probably fixed your problem by now, or will have very soft hands from doing all the washing up!
