sony KV 32XBR450 Television Goes black?

Our Sony KV 32XBR450 television screen goes black and stays black from 2 - 8 seconds, sometimes we even get green lines, or the picture freezes. Even though the screen goes black we still get the sound.
Does anyone know if it is an easy at home fix, or even worth fixing?
