Mend Homelite 51972 Fuel Plug Bought

need to find where to buy replacement fuel tank plug and hoses?

I bought a Toro trimmer, Model #51972 about 2 years ago. I could not get it to start this year and upon further investigation found that the fuel hoses and plug through which they enter the tank had rotted already. When I went online to find replacement parts, I was advised that my trimmer was not a Toro at all but in fact that Homelite had purchased the right to use their name. I need to find these parts, please advise.
