Mend Beko FF CA5411FFS Freezer Refrigerator Defrost

Black hose Beko FF CA5411FFS?

Hi, i have in my hands a black hose from the back of the appliance, i am not sure where it goes, i have had to defrost my FF as the system was not working, i will be switching it back on shortly to see what happens.
Is this hose important or simply a clean way to allow water to flow from the Fridge into the collector at the bottom of the system?
