Mend Boiler Heating Error F1

Fault F1 and F3 with boiler/keeps cutting out?

When running the hot water my boiler keeps cutting out. I keep getting error F3, then i will keep getting error F1. It appears to be an intermittant problem as sometimes it will work and other times it refuses point blank!

I have the same problem, my plumber wants to replace the heat exchangers at a cost of £500. Does anyone have any ideas before I fork over the cash?
