indesit widl 126 s?

Our indesit stopped working today - lights came on but when you tried to start a wash nothing happened.

I followed the 3 suggestions posted by David in May 2009 and the 3rd suggestion worked. Hopefully we will get a few more years out of the machine!

it is without a doubt the main board they are known for problems.it will cost £100 or more to fix ive had the exact same problem.a right pain in the rectum i might add!

i have the indesit widl 126 which has broken down yet again for the third time in a year.ive been told its the main module board again .it has cost me £150 each time. the parts are so expensive.i would not recomend indesit to anyone.must be the most unreliable machines on the market.can any one help me on where to get parts cheap.indesit are one big rip off.well below standard.crap!!

I had the same thing, but my washer worked as normal, noticed it had happened after I had moved the tilt on the waste pipe..... so put it back and cleaned the filter and the flashing has stopped, not sure which worked though... : )

I have just had the same problem with the leds flashing. Emptied filter, no change. Followed point 2 and held waste pipe high and I cleaned it. Turned washer on, and LEDs no longer flashing. Many thanks.

We have this machine, and although we haven't been able to fix the problem you have (ours died today), my wifes brother (who is a washing machine repairman) suggested 3 things. 1. open the filter cover and unscrew to see if there are any objects inside. 2. Remove the waste pipe and hold it above waste height. 3. Remove the top of the washing machine and there is a small flexy pipe which runs along the back to the left side of the machine. Remove it and blow down it as much as you can, replace and give it another go.
