I have a sony nv-u52g sat nav. The battery will not charge I have tried charging from the car adaptor my computer and from a mains adaptor still no joy. Can anyone help, Thanks

I have a u83 and it needs to be switched on and off twice if battery has gone completely flat.
Also can connect sat nav to computer with sat nav on and and computer off.Then switch on computer.Should get red charging light!
