I have a dlt 3000 riding mower and after mowing the other day I went to move it into the garage and when I pushed on the pedal to go you could hear what I think is the transmission but the mower doesn't go forwards or backwards. Also if you try to release the pin in the back so you can push the tractor the rear tires do not release and you can't push it. Jacked up the rear end and tires move but one goes forward and the other backwards. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
drive belt slipped off. Tilt it on it's side and put the belt back on.

I had exactly the same problem. your parking brake is stuck on. follow the linkage which goes to the right rear of the mower. reach up where there's a spring attached to the linkage and you can pull on it and wiggle it a bit to release it. after i loosened mine, it happened once more, but has since stopped that problem. i think the lack of action over winter caused it.
