sime format c boiler?

I have the same problem. It's intermittent, but mostly the boiler will not fire up and you get the red light on the front. There was current running to the igniter but seemingly no output from the igniter. The igniter was replaced, but it's not made any difference. The repair man suggested it could be the circuit board that has malfunctioned.

If I get the problem fixed, I'll post the solution here....
