I tried very suggestion I could find to get the series link back and after quite a wait and 3 emails I got this response from TopUp TV:
Usually missing guide/series link data will self update after 48 hours. This is the time taken to allow the box to fully update providing you have not interrupted the updating process by doing a channel scan.
In summary please only perform one channel scan and allow 48 hours.
If it does not self update after this period then please carry out the following:
If you are not receiving downloads, experiencing problems with recording series links or do not have a full 14 day guide of listings, please ensure that you have left the box on standby for 48 hours to allow the DTR to prepare itself to receive nightly downloads.
If you have done this then please try the following procedure.
Purge VOD schedule
Press the guide button.
Press the green button for 'go to day'.
If a full 14-day guide is not showing up then this is why you are experiencing problems.
Press the menu button.
Scroll down to set-up and press OK.
Scroll down to help and press OK.
In the help menu press 1.3.9.7 on the remote control.
Scroll down to the 'Purge VOD Schedule' option and press OK.
Ensure the DTR is not switched off for the next 24 hours. During this period (between 11am and 12pm) the 14 day guide will update.
We are currently waiting for the 24 hours but I'm hopeful this will work.
