Mend Worcester 24CDI Heat Exchanger Diverter Valve

hot water cuts out on worcester 24cdi(tank fed)?

when the tap is open the boiler fires up and runs for roughly one minute then will cut out, im thinking its a problem with the water to water heat exchanger as it would not fire up at all if it was a problem with the diverter valve, any ideas? thanks
