My Jones VX2013 machine will only sew in reverse - Help!?
My machine will only sew in reverse. I think it might be something connected to the button you have to push in to do reverse stitching but not sure. I have taken the cover off and there is a little wire clip that looks as though it should be hooked to something, but I can't see anywhere that it might have come out of. Has anyone any ideas? Thanks.
continue to press the reverse button. it may eventually break free. usually reverse levers are seldom used, so they have a tendency to stick when pressed in

Hello Elaine,
Normally it is just a drop of oil on the inside of the button that is needed something like a spray of WD40, if that does not work the best thing is a shop adjustment because it is really fidly.
