Mend Amana LWA60AW Washing Machine Motor Belt Replacement

How can I fix my washer Amana LWA60AW?

I just replaced the belt on my Amana LWA60AW washer and now after the spin cycle starts I have smoke coning from the motor and it turns off. How can I fix this? Please someone help I can't afford to buy a new one.
