First of all, do you have the iLo 1GB mp3 player sold by WalMart (as seen here: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4127960 ? If so, continue. This information is based upon that model.
Have you tried formatting the drive letter in Windows Explorer? For example: you open Explorer. You expand the \"My Computer\" icon and see drive C: (you hard disk), drive D: (your CD/DVD/etc), and drive E: (your MP3 player). Right click the icon for the mp3 player and select \"format\". MAKE CERTAIN YOU ARE FORMATTING THE CORRECT DRIVE LETTER! If you accidentally format a hard disk you could permanently lose important data. Note that the drive letters contained in this example may or may not have any bearing on the reality of YOUR computer. I merely provide them as example.
