Mend Yamaha Wave Blaster 760

Yamaha 760 Oil Leak?

I just got my 1996 Yamaha Wave Blaster 760 out of storage for the winter, I fired it up and everything was fine, I let it run for 15-20 seconds. Engine and hull area was clean, I towed the machine for about 30 miles to the water and when I opened up the hood, there was oil all over the hull, lost about 1/2 quart of oil.
Any ideas where the oil came from? Bad lines, engine issue?
