Mend Ford Galaxy Power Working

the power steering on my ford galaxy 1998?

the power steering on my ford galaxy 1998 has stopped working and now it has started to overheat. Any idea why?

Ford Ford Galaxy Vehicles, Cars Power Ford Working

the power staering and the water pump are run off the same drive belt. if the belt has broken the steering pump may have seized causing the belt to snap. you have to take off the belly pan and have a look. there are two belts one is a V belt that is what drives the water pump and the steering pump and the other belt is flat and grooved.
