Mend Peugeot 206 Hdi Starts Runs

anti-pollution fault?

206 2.0 hdi starts ok and tickover good, but to drive away it runs rough.

i try to accellerate and if revs go over 2500 it cuts out and anti-pollution fault comes on dashboard.

any help anyone please?
