dont know age of car ,if it hasent got the inlet manifold across the top of the cam cover,it should be at the passengers side of engine,follow the top hose from radiator to engine it should connect onto plastic housing,look carfully you should see two 8mm bolts holding this on,the thermostates located inside,check inside this housing they tend to break causing overheating problems.
