door open warning light?

i have a 52 plate vectra ,sometimes when i get in a light on the dash says my drivers door is open when its not and then i cant lock my doors with my key fob,i have to do it manually.after a while everything is back to normal until it happens again.i cant see a courtesy switch to check....please help
