Mend Engine Transmission Malfunction

boat not working in forward and revers?

boat was running fine until it kicked out of gear and now forward and reverse not working..any ideas?

JOHN,
CHECK THE CABLE FROM THE PEDESTAL THAT ATTACHED TO THE TRANSMISSION ON THE ENGINE . SOMETIMES THE LITTLE SET SCREW THAT HOLDS THE CABLE TO THE FORWARD AND REVERSE LEVER ON THE TRANSMISSION COMES LOOSE .
