Mend Kenmore 15912 Dishwasher Soap Dispenser Cycle

Soap dispenser won't open on Kenmore 15912 dishwasher?

I'm also having a problem where the the cycle finishes, but the soap dispenser does not open during the cycle. As I open the door after the wash it clicks open. I'm using liquid soap, the dispenser is clean and the catch that opens the dispenser works fine manually. Any ideas? Thanks
