i have stripped the drum down and removed spider shaft but am still unable to remove old bearings,the front bearing is sealed behind a fixed rubber seal and the back bearing is encased in steel how do i remove them ???
prise the rubber seal out and use a drift/bar and hammer to knock the bearings out of the tub.if the race falls out and leaves the outer shell casing in the tub you will have to use a flat bladed screwdriver and find the top edge and using a hammer drive it out of the tub.
