Mend Volkswagen Golf MK4 Door Lock Vw

How do I fix the front door lock of my MK4 1999 VW Golf?

There seems to be power to my front passenger side door lock but the bolt doesn't go up and down so the door never locks. I think I need to get a new locking unit but how do I fit it? Any help would be appreciated.
