Mend Peugeot 307 Way Front Fit

which way do front wheel bearings fit?

replaced front wheel bearings on a 2002 307
and the a.b.s light comes on and the car seems
to start of in 3rd gear does metal ring side of bearing
go on the inside ???

Yes - if the ring contains the metallic reluctor which triggers the ABS system. This reluctor must pass close to the pickup on each wheel.
