Mend RCA F27615 Sound Signal Picture

rca tv, model F27615, No sound (only "snowy sound")?

The TV I have has slowly lost it's "signal" sound, that is, I have adjustable volume but the only sound eminating is the sound that typically accompanies no picture (I call it the "snowy sound"). The picture is great, just no sound.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have seen similar problems...... unplug the TV for about 10 min and plug it back in.....should fix problem
