I find no spark on my honda GCV160?

I even bought a new coil. I cleaned the fly wheel with a gently sanding, bought a new spark plug, and even unpluged the kill wire from the coil and still no spark...is there another suggestion? There may be another sensor or switch but I can't find one

I have just got a Honda GXV160, and the owners manual says
0.028-0.031 "
0.70 - 0.80 mm gap.

Briggs and Stratton motors all have same plug gap, I expect Honda will also.

Worth starting at the above gap.

Good luck

Seeing that you have replaced the coil (I assume with a new one ) There are two possibilities here..
1. The oil level is low, so that the low oil sensor is shutting off the spark or
2. there is a small resistor in the plug cap which may be faulty. Remove the plug cap and see if you have a spark from the bare wire of the plug lead.

...and how thick is "a couple of sheets of paper" Newspaper? Writing paper? Toilet paper?

Errr strange if you've bought a new coil.....are you sure the plug is ok? Try another one. The only thing I can think of here is that the gap between the coil and the flywheel should be very small - about the thickness of a couple of sheets of paper.
