Mend Kenmore 665 Drain Motor Valve

Kenmore Ultra wash dishwasher, model 665, 1777999c serial?

The unit started making a noise while exiting water after wash and rinse. Finally the water was left in the bottom of unit at the end of cycle. By pushing can the cxl/drain button we got it to work once, then it was over. Water remains in bottom of unit. Seems like exit motor is bad or some valve is clogged or broken? Can anyone help me?

Check to ensure the gasket isn't protruding up onto the float and holding it down giving it a false positive that the bottom tray is pumped free and void of water.
