Sharp Aquos LCD with black screen model Lc-46D62U 46"?

My television powers up, but has a black screen. I cannot access the menu. I can hear audio but though the screen powers up to a gray colour, there is no picture. The green light comes on and stays on...no red light. It is just over 1 year old and the warranty has expired. Have had no help from Sharp. Anyone that may have had the same problem that can help?...Thanks
