Lumicron LDC-636z3 digital camera?

I have a lumicron-636z3 digital camera that goes through batteries at a rapid rate, I have tried all sorts of batteries with no effect. It always has used a battery quite quickly but now they don't last any time at all. When I have checked the batteries for charge after the camera has rejected them they show a good level of charge remaining in them. Any ideas??
