cold starting problem iveco daily 35s11?

replace the battery, battery should be 800cca
have battery checked, my customer is happy now.

It is known for these vans to drop back diesel on occasion, A common place is the pipes or quick release pipe fittings at the filter housing and high pressure pump. Put constant power to low pressure pump and listen for air. Hope this helps

I have a 56 plate iveco with 80k on the clock and mine is the same!!! is it a fault of the iveco model? can it be cured? HELP!!

Hi keith, did you have any luck fixing your iveco? i have a 2002 35s11 75k on the clock with EXACTLY the same problem . My first thought was glow plugs, untill i found out they dont have any! and the chap at iveco said the cold start valve doesn't even start working untill about -15 degrees so it couldn't be that either.
It would seem there are a lot of people with the same or similar problems on forums like this but nobody has a definitive answer.

Hi Keith... check to see if the pre heaters are really pulling current... should be about 50 amps at switch on... if that does not help let your local garage do a compression check on all the cylinders, although they should be ok considering the low milage.. success... Bill.

It could be a faulty timing solenoid that feeds the fuel to the injectors. Good luck.
