Mend InSinkErator 444

leaking disposer drain?

My disposer is leaking from the tailpiece gasket. I've tried replacing the gasket, but it's still leaking. I don't know if it's the right gasket, since i've found two styles, One is flat and found, and the other is rubber with a groove and flange. Neither one seems to fit my Insinkerator 444.
Am I installing the gasket wrong? Which way does the rubber flange go?
