How do I replace a halogen hot-plate?

I have a Creda Solarspeed Halogen Hob.

The 1.8kw plate needs replacing.

How do I do it?

Switch all electricity to the appliance completely off, disconnect and remove it from the work top and turn it over. Remove the steel cover to expose the separate elements. Thats how you do the Hotpoint ones, anyway!
