Mend Hygena APL8224/1 Dishwasher Water Going Fine

How can I fix my Hygena dishwasher APL8224/1?

my dishwasher is not heating up the water. It is going through the cycle fine as normal but with cold water. I know nothing about kitchen appliances but believe it may be the element. Is this the case? If so, is it easliy replaced?
