Mend Zanussi DF 56/45 Working Light Occasionally

How can I fix my zanussi model DF 56/45 ?

The freezer is ok but the fridge is not working. The light is on in the fridge but the motor/compressor is not working. Occasionally the motor does run and the fridge is ok . At these times it can be switched on and off with the thermostat control and it sometimes makes a clicking noise from the motor/compreesor when you do this.
Help Please.
