Hi Paul, it is more likely to be a failed sensor,valve or other component rather than the ECU, the only way to find out is to go to an independant garage or a tyre & exhaust place to get it connected to a diagnostic code reader £20~30 main dealers charge £120+++ If it is the ECU have a look at www.autotekelectronics.com enter your number plate and it will show the correct spares and a hell of a lot cheaper than the dealer, the ECU should be on the engine bulkhead UK passenger side.
