Replacing plastic gliders?

How do I remove broken plastic gliders from a plastic curtain rail and replace them with new ones?

They slide out the ends quite easily - need to take the curtains down and remove the end stops.

Some runners snap out without having to mess around with the curtains and end stops - just turn them to be in line with the rail and pull them out of the slot.

Go to the shop and buy replacements first - the packet sometimes has instructions and the staff may well be able to demonstrate how to do it.
