How do I wind new line for my Black and Decker GL546 Reflex Plus Grass Stri?

Automatic line feed does not work
Keep the tabs depressed and remove the spool cover fromthe housing.
Lift the spool approx. 6 mm and pull the cutting line untilit protrudes 9 cm from the housing. If insufficient cuttingline is left on the spool, install a new spool of cutting lineas instructed above.
Push the spool back into place and rotate it slightly until itis seated.
Align the tabs on the spool cover with the cut outs in thehousing.
Push the cover onto the housing until it snaps securelyinto place.
If the cutting line protrudes beyond the trimming blade,cut it off so that it just reaches the blade.If the automatic line feed still does not work, try the followingsuggestions:
Carefully clean the spool housing.
Remove the spool and check if the lever can move freely.
Remove the spool and unwind the cutting line, then windit on neatly again as described above. Replace the spoolas instructed.

have been having the same problem with my reflex plus - only used it once when it was new - never been able to replace line - HELP or is this a design fault
