Sears 18hp tractor Model 917.255970 engine type 1243-01?

Engine just shutdown while running to charge battery up.
Check for gas, o.k. Check spark at plugs. no current to plugs. Fuse is fine. Any help would appreciate. Thank you. Joe P.S. How would I check the Magnetron? Lites are not working also. 18hp Sears tractor Model 917.255970
