your better checking the rear brakes first. if there are no faults there adjust the shoes. then adjust handbrake cable. just adjusting handbrake cable is what cowboys do. to adjust cable; flip out trim cover on back of centre console behind handbrake, undo screw under trim, lift up rear of console and there is a 13mm nut on the cable. take up slack by tightening up nut.
