Mend Kohlangaz Top Gas Fire

the knob on top of kohlangaz gas fire has broken?

this was broken on moving in, a gasman came out and sasd the fire was obsolete but working perfectly, if only the ignition knob worked, Where can I get a spare please. Thanks
