i have a thomson scenium tv/dvd combi model 28wt25u and when the tv is plugged in there is power to the tv but it won't power up! the stanby light flashs twice and then seven times is this some sort of faul code?
youve more than likely blown a diode (RL26) in area B8 of the PCB, have had the same with mine, firstly as Taff rightly says by leaving fo a few minutes before allowing it to restart,

Mine does that too. It comes on eventually after about 5 minutes. If you keep you finger on the on button and jiggle it about it comes n straight away sometimes???
