Mend Veritas 8c Reset

Reset of Veritas 8c?

I have had to disconnect my alarm from the power supply as I bought a repossessed house. As soon as i turned the power on it wants a code (that i don't have)! Does anyone know how to restore the 'factory' settings and then i can set a new code? I would be very grateful for any help. Thank you
