Mend Valliant TurboMax 828E Heating Diverter Valve Heat Exchanger

Vallant TurboMax 828E?

My boiler which is 3 yrs old takes several mins before I get hot water from the tap. I have replaced the diverter valve and flushed the heat exchanger as an engineer told me this was likely to be the cause. Before the valve change the water would go hot then cold now when it does get hot it stays hot. Could this be a faulty water pressure switch?
