how can i fix my technosonic wct2816t?

i have got a technosonic wct2816t and i carnt get sound from it i am useing a freeview box on a scart lead there isnt a problem with the freeview because it works fine with my other tv. If i plug my camcorder in the av ports there is sound is there anything in the menu i have missed
