Mend Sony RDR-HXD560 Code Works Fine

Error Code C 1300 for Sony RDR-HXD560 ?

The HDD on my Sony RDR-HXD560 works fine.
However, the DDVD part, both play back and recording does not work.
It comes up with error message C 1300.

What can I do?
