Mend Hotpoint Door Lock Washing

Hotpoint door lock three wires C white N black L brown?

machine displays close door, fitted new door lock, machine says close door, bridged accross C & L machine works, fitted another new door lock same result, is the door lock faulty ? if so why when bridging C & L dose it work?

Thank you for the help, found blown track. Replaced pcb with one from another broken machine, problem solved. I now have some strange readings on display at end of wash/spin will try changing that part too.

u not got interlock fault the timer has blown a track on pcb, u need to remove timer and look out pcb it will be block nearest to front of machine 1st track will have blown
