How do I fix My Frigidaire FRE2422A (will not cool/freeze)?

My Frigidaire fridge freezer model FRE2422A won’t cool or freeze, when its switched on the light comes on and the motor starts the fins warm up but after a while there’s a ping noise from the rear and the motor goes silent any ideas suggestions appreciated thanks.
