My Frigidaire larder elite fridge is no longer self defrosting?

without the model no I cannot give you 100% advice.however if iam correct in thinking the appliance is the model with no freezer/freezer compartment ,then I know the evap circuit.first thing to do here is to let the fridge defrost,24hours.as the fridge is defrosting it is important to ensure the defrost drain channel is not blocked.from the back of the fiidge locate the compresor.ontop of that you will see the plastic evap tray.you will notice a black pipe coming out of the body of the fridge and joining onto the tray.remove this pipe from the tray locator and make sure its not blocked.use a straw.its possible this is blocked.when fridge is fully defrosted and you have drainage from this pipe,run the fridge and see how it goes.if the fridge ices up again I will take you through the evap timer circuit.your fridge is only 3 or 4 years old if iam correct.but still check the door seal for any splits and total door closure.all the best.
