Ford Fiesta Mk4?

My screen washer will not work but the motor works fine as i have tested with 2 wires connected to the battery. i disconnected it from the connector under the engine. I have checked the fuse and took the fuse box out and when i press the screen washer button i can feel and hear the relay click. I have replaced the relay and the fuse and it still wont work. there must be a break in the cables but im not sure where. can i put 2 wires from the fuse box to the motor.
